A Proud Parent Moment
One lovely day while picking up Alexis form preschool, Ethan and I were waiting quietly and patiently with all the other preschooler parents and siblings....Then the Fire Alarm Sounded
(Weeerrrrr--Weeeerrrr--Weeerrrrr)
My sweet son had reached behind me and pulled the fire alarm. All of the schools students and faculty were evacuated as quickly as possible. I was still standing next to the alarm MORTIFIED with my head down waiting to tell someone what had happened. A man approached with a key ready to, but failing to, turn the alarm off. "I'm soo sorry, my son pulled the alarm" I said, Hoping that he would smile and say "don't worry about it, these things happen"
but he didn't.
I walked outside after fessing up, and there it was the Big Red Fire Engine and it's LOUD sounding alarm, rushing towards the school. I could see the parents turning there heads watching and wondering what was on fire. (I think it was my face). Luckily, No Harm No Foul!
But Mark MY Works, this is just the beginning of Ethan's MISCHIEF.
